The Zaghouan Sectoral Center for Vocational Training and Employment hosted a working session on Thursday focused on strengthening women's employability and their integration into the job market.
This session is part of the International Labour Organization (ILO) program, which has allocated €5.2 million to the creation of micro-projects for rural women, particularly in Tunisia and Egypt, said Ms. Naoual Belhadj, the organization's representative and coordinator for decent work for women after the revolutions in Tunisia and Egypt.
An expert will be appointed by the organization to conduct a study on projects to be carried out in the Zaghouan governorate and to identify the problems hindering women's presence in the job market, she added.
Representatives from various technical and professional structures reviewed the different projects that can be created under this program and adapted to the specific needs of the region.
