Establishing IT that transforms our societies. This is, among other things, the ambition of the 1st edition of the USI.
The first edition of the University of the Information System (USI) will be held on July 1st and 2nd in Casablanca with the participation of more than 350 decision-makers and managers of IT and business departments of large French companies. At a press conference on Friday in Casablanca, the organizers indicated that the objective of the USI, which is being held for the first time in Morocco, is to offer a framework for reflection, without commercial speeches or sponsors, and also to offer a unique moment of sharing and collecting ideas and methods. And to emphasize that the foundations of the USI are resolutely different from other events, namely the ambition to bring together specialists in new technologies and senior decision-makers in IT departments, for an IT that transforms our societies. On the program of this university, no less than 16 reflection workshops will be led by international experts on themes such as identity management-security or ergonomics and mobility. Participants will also benefit from the live broadcast of the "keynotes" and sessions held simultaneously in Paris. The flagship keynote speakers will be broadcast live from Paris and will be led in particular by Jean-Philippe Courtois, President of Microsoft International, Derrick de Kerckhove, philosopher and sociologist, and Lean Senseï, research associate at the Ecole nationale supérieure de télécommunications (ENST) in Paris.
