US Investor and Entrepreneur Delegation Coming to Tunisia

From October 27 to November 2, the Special Representative of the State Department for Commercial Affairs, Lorraine Hariton, will lead a delegation of American entrepreneurs, investors, representatives of non-governmental organizations, and academics on a tour of Morocco, Algeria, and Tunisia.

The delegation includes several members of the Maghreb diaspora in the United States. The delegation is sponsored by "Partners for a New Beginning of the US-Africa Economic Partnership."

The delegation aims to develop and deepen relations between American investors and entrepreneurs and their local counterparts in emerging markets. The program includes selecting three startups, one from each Maghreb country, to receive three months of business incubation training at the Detroit, Michigan technopole, in addition to a three-month scholarship at Wayne State University in Detroit for training in business and entrepreneurship.
