Context / Purpose of the position:
- At the heart of client, business, and technical teams, the Forward Deployed Engineer (M/F) transforms complex operational challenges into concrete, secure, and user-adopted software and artificial intelligence solutions.
- In frequent collaboration with a Business Analyst or Product Owner, they support each stage of the project, from identifying a need to deploying an MVP.
Main missions:
- Discover the daily work of operational teams to understand their processes, constraints, data, existing systems, and priorities.
- Evaluate and structure high-value use cases, considering their business impact, technical feasibility, security, data quality, and potential for industrialization.
- Translate sometimes unclear needs into a realistic action plan: objectives, architecture, backlog, success indicators (KPIs), and initial MVP versions.
- Quickly create functional prototypes and evolve them into production-ready solutions: applications, APIs, data pipelines, automations, interfaces, IT connectors, monitoring tools, or AI workflows.
- Integrate these solutions into enterprise systems, including legacy environments, while respecting security, compliance, and governance requirements.
- Implement the necessary practices for their operation: testing, CI/CD, containerization, and observability.
- Promote the sharing and reuse of acquired knowledge through components, methods, standards, and deployment recommendations: AI Harnessing, FinOps AI, AI security, agent orchestration, and architecture.
Required profile :
Profile:
- A Master's degree (Bac+5) in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or equivalent;
- At least 10 years of experience in software development, data engineering, cloud, applied AI, systems integration, or complex technological delivery, including at least 1 year on production systems based on LLMs.
- Proven experience in delivering solutions to production, ideally in a telecom or B2B environment.
Technical skills:
- Good command of Python; knowledge of TypeScript or Java is appreciated.
- Experience with prompt engineering and context engineering, RAG and vector databases, fine-tuning, and agent orchestration (LangGraph, MCP, Google ADK, or equivalent).
- Knowledge of cloud and DevOps practices: Git, CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, monitoring, and observability.
- Ability to integrate a solution into an existing information system, considering constraints related to access, identity, cybersecurity, confidentiality, and compliance.
- Knowledge of telecom environments is a significant asset: fixed and mobile networks, OSS/BSS, monitoring, operations, incidents, service quality, telemetry data, cloud, edge, or cybersecurity.
