Job :

AFD Tech part of Accenture is recruiting an Automotive Vehicle Engineer to join its teams and work on diagnostic, technical assistance, and support activities in the automotive field.

-Main tasks

• In this role, you will be responsible for:
• -Analyzing and verifying information contained in tickets.
• -Checking the operating status of automotive parts and systems.
• -Identifying parts that need replacement.
• -Checking and analyzing fault codes to guide diagnosis.
• -Acting as a liaison with mechanics and Level 2 teams.
• -Assisting mechanics remotely by phone during diagnostic operations.
• -Supporting mechanics in resolving technical issues.
• -Ensuring follow-up and management of tickets until resolution.
• -Guaranteeing rigorous follow-up of requests and compliance with current procedures.

Required profile :

With a technical/engineering background, you ideally have initial experience or solid knowledge in the automotive field.

You have mastery or good knowledge of:

• Operation of main automotive components: engine, steering, gearbox, etc.
• Automotive embedded systems: ABS, ESP, etc.
• Automotive diagnostics and fault code interpretation.
• Windows environment and procedures for installing/configuring peripherals.
• Remote access tools, especially AnyDesk.
• Required qualities
• Analytical skills and ability to quickly identify the root cause of a problem.
• Good communication skills and ease in telephone interactions.
• Rigor and sense of service.
• Autonomy and teamwork.
• Curiosity, motivation, and ability to be self-taught.
•      Strong learning ability and willingness to develop skills in the automotive field.
•      Languages

We are looking for candidates who master one of the following languages:

French: fluent / professional level
English: fluent / professional level
Spanish: fluent / professional level

Mastery of a second language is a plus.
