Job :

Join a leading company in the construction and civil engineering sector and participate in the development of major sports projects as a Civil Engineer specializing in sports facilities, based in Riyadh.

The objective of the position is to ensure the coordination, supervision, and technical success of civil engineering works, in compliance with project requirements, Saudi standards, and FIFA technical guidelines.

Your main responsibilities

• Participate in the detailed design and planning of civil engineering works.
• Supervise works on site and monitor their progress.
• Track project budgets, deadlines, and resources.
• Identify technical risks and propose corrective actions.
• Coordinate work with design offices, subcontractors, suppliers, and the client.
• Verify the compliance of works with the Saudi Building Code and the requirements of the competent authorities.
• Resolve technical problems encountered on the construction site.
• Ensure compliance with FIFA standards applicable to stadiums, training centers, and team base camps.
• Check the dimensions of fields, clearance areas, levels, slopes, and sports equipment.
• Supervise drainage and irrigation systems, as well as field structures and natural or synthetic turf work.
• Ensure coordination of work related to sports lighting and required lux levels.
• Verify compliance with FIFA requirements regarding safety, accessibility, and the movement of players, officials, and spectators.

Required profile :

A Master's degree (Bac +5 or higher) in civil engineering from a recognized university is required. A specialization in sports infrastructure or facilities is a significant asset.

You have 10 to 20 years of professional experience in the design, execution, or supervision of civil engineering projects, with proven experience in at least one sports project: stadium, training center, club, or sports complex.

• Excellent command of civil engineering design and construction techniques.
• Experience in managing complex projects from design to delivery.
• Good command of planning, work monitoring, and budget management.
• Ability to coordinate and lead multidisciplinary teams.
• Proficiency in CAD and project management software.
• Good knowledge of the Saudi Building Code and applicable regulations.
• Mandatory experience in applying FIFA's technical requirements for stadiums, training centers, and team base camps.
• Good knowledge of FIFA standards for field dimensions, clearance areas, drainage, irrigation, foundation layers, and natural or synthetic turf.
• Knowledge of requirements related to sports lighting, lux levels, safety, and accessibility.
• Rigor, organization, autonomy, and ability to solve technical problems.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Good command of English.
