Missions

Reporting to the editorial team, your main responsibilities will include:

• Continuously monitoring national and international economic news;
• Tracking and analyzing key macroeconomic trends: growth, inflation, employment, investment, foreign trade, public finance, etc.;
• Covering news in economic and productive sectors, as well as market developments;
• Following the activities and news of companies, groups, and economic actors;
• Producing articles, analyses, reports, interviews, and features on economic topics;
• Identifying and proposing editorial topics related to current events and economic trends;
• Conducting interviews with executives, experts, economists, decision-makers, and institutional actors;
• Gathering, verifying, cross-referencing, and analyzing information from various sources;
• Decoding economic decisions and policies and analyzing their impact on companies, sectors, and society;
• Transforming complex economic information and data into clear, accessible, and relevant content for readers;
• Participating in the production of content adapted to the Group's various platforms: print, web, video, and social media;
• Designing and producing video content: preparation, scripting, filming, and assisting with editing;
• Adapting economic topics to the formats and codes of digital platforms;
• Contributing to the management of the Economy section on digital platforms and social media;
• Monitoring trends and new journalistic formats to propose innovative content.

Required profile :

Profile Sought

With a background in Journalism, Communication, Economics, Finance, or a related field, you have experience in economic journalism, economic content production, or a similar editorial environment.

You possess:

• Excellent command of French, both written and spoken;
• Good knowledge of national and international economic news;
• A strong understanding of key economic mechanisms and challenges;
• Solid research, analysis, and synthesis skills;
• Excellent mastery of journalistic writing techniques;
• Experience in conducting interviews and producing reports;
• Skills in scripting and producing video content;
• Good command of video production tools and social media;
• The ability to simplify complex economic topics and make them accessible to different audiences.
