Job :

The PMA Cost Reduction Pilot manages and coordinates cost reduction initiatives on a vehicle sub-system or a component family.

It transforms optimization ideas into concrete, planned, and executable projects, while ensuring coordination between technical teams, purchasing, and program teams.

The role acts as an operational pivot, ensuring effective implementation, monitoring of economic gains, and adherence to the deployment timelines of optimization actions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and structure cost reduction opportunities on a vehicle sub-system or component family.
• Transform optimization ideas into concrete projects with planning, milestones, and deliverables.
• Lead the implementation of cost reduction actions in coordination with engineering, purchasing, and program teams.
• Analyze mechatronic modules and components to identify technical or industrial optimization paths.
• Ensure monitoring of economic gains, reporting, and escalation of risks or blockages.
• Guarantee compliance with deadlines and cost reduction objectives defined by the program.

Required profile :

Profile:

Degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electromechanical Engineering, or equivalent.

0 to 1 year of experience in the automotive or mobility industry.

Experience in:

• Development of mechatronic modules or components
• Cost reduction / value engineering
• Technical coordination or project management

Hard Skills:

• Knowledge of vehicle systems and modules
• Understanding of mechatronic components
• Cost reduction / value analysis / value engineering methodologies
• Technical component analysis
• Technical project management
• Interaction with purchasing and suppliers
• Reading and understanding technical documents (CAD, BOM, specifications)

Tools:

• Advanced Excel / gain tracking
• PLM / BOM management
• Project management tools.
