In this context of Agile transformation at scale, we are looking for an experienced Scrum Master to support the team and ensure the success of deliveries up to production.
The Scrum Master will work in an Agile environment involving multiple teams, which requires:
- Facilitation and active participation in Agile ceremonies: (daily, sprint planning, review, retrospective)
- Close coordination with other team members to ensure inter-team alignment and synchronization, and to share and spread Agile best practices
- Ability to manage inter-team dependencies and facilitate their resolution
- An active role in spreading the Agile culture at scale within the team
Your missions:
- Implementation and guarantee of the Scrum method: sprint planning, organization and facilitation of all Agile ceremonies (daily, sprint planning, review, retrospective)
- Monitoring of continuous improvement areas identified during retrospectives
- Ensuring compliance with the Definition of Ready (DoR) and Definition of Done (DoD)
- Organizing 1-to-1 meetings with team members to detect early warning signs and new areas for improvement
- Tracking progress metrics (burndown/burnup charts) on JIRA
- Monitoring performance indicators at each sprint: velocity, team commitment, and satisfaction
- Proactive analysis of obstacles, blockers, and external interferences that could slow down the team
- Ensuring smooth communication within the team and with stakeholders (Product Owner, management, project manager)
- Guaranteeing the consistency and reliability of information within the team
- Supporting the Product Owner in decision-making (team, product, tools) and, if necessary, challenging certain requests
- Identifying and proposing concrete solutions to problems encountered throughout the project
- Fostering creativity, autonomy, and skill development within the team to enhance its effectiveness and ability to deliver value.
- Managing change to embed a truly Agile culture and practices within the team
Required profile :
Profile sought:
- Master's degree (Bac+5) from an Engineering School or equivalent university program
- 3 to 5 years of experience as a Scrum Master in an Agile application environment
- Proficiency in JIRA / Confluence tools
- Good knowledge of information systems
- Knowledge of Java or REST API testing is an additional asset
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong team spirit and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Ability to rally, facilitate, and support change
- Supportive leadership and servant leader mindset
Desired certifications:
- Scrum Master Certification: CSM or PSM
