Position:
The Student Employment Office Coordinator is the main point of contact for all student part-time job activities at Al Akhawayn University. This includes paid, unpaid, and volunteer positions. The Coordinator is responsible for advertising, assigning, and watching over these chances, making sure they are fair, help students grow professionally, and involve students meaningfully.
A main goal of this job is to get as many AUI students as possible involved in the university's daily life through academic, administrative, and campus service roles. The Coordinator also plays a big part in the University's Co-Curricular Transcript (CCT) project, making sure student work experiences are officially recorded as part of each student's learning record.

Recognizing & Celebrating Student Employees.
Reporting to the institution.
Main Duties:
Find and create student job opportunities (paid, unpaid, and volunteer) in all campus departments.
Write contracts and set the terms for student jobs according to University rules.
Make sure that paid and unpaid part-time jobs are given out fairly and inclusively.
Offer a clear support system for students who have problems with their part-time jobs.
Work closely with the Center for Learning Excellence to include certification standards and quality checks in student job processes.
Collaborate with the Admissions and Financial Aid Offices to keep eligibility requirements for scholarship-related jobs up-to-date.
Find and organize training for student graders and for other roles that are part of scholarship duties.
Actively contribute to the Co-Curricular Transcript (CCT) project by recording student job activities, skills learned, and hours worked, making sure these experiences are officially noted in students' learning records.
Celebrate and highlight the achievements of student employees through events, communications, and recognition programs.
Keep accurate records and create regular reports on student job data, trends, and results.
Help the Director of Student Success & Engagement with all tasks related to student success and involvement.
Perform all other related duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree from an approved institution, ideally in Education, Student Affairs, Human Resources, or a similar field. A Master's degree is preferred.
Must speak and write English well; knowing French and/or Arabic is a plus.
Previous experience in coordinating student jobs, student services, or academic administration is helpful.
Experience as a peer mentor, peer tutor, resident advisor, or student leader is highly desired.
Personal and Behavioral characteristics / IT skills
Strong skills in public speaking, giving presentations, and leading groups.
Good communication and people skills, able to connect with students, supervisors, and University offices in a helpful and professional way.
Ability to build and maintain working relationships with different departments and units.
Ability to guide students and solve problems with understanding, fairness, and care.
Strong ability to solve problems and handle disagreements.
Good skills with Microsoft Excel and Word.
