HSE Supervisor - Tanger

Job :

• HSE Supervision of Activities
  • Daily supervision of HSE conditions in the different areas and activities of the site.
  • Ensure the application of HSE procedures, instructions, and standards.
  • Control compliance with HSE rules by internal teams, subcontractors, and service providers.
  • Ensure the implementation of prevention measures defined before the start of high-risk activities.
• Identification and Prevention of Risks
  • Identify risky situations and behaviors during site visits.
  • Participate in the risk assessment related to operation, maintenance, and work activities.
  • Propose appropriate preventive and corrective measures.
  • Verify the availability and correct use of individual and collective protective equipment.
• HSE Inspections and Controls
  • Perform regular HSE inspections of facilities, equipment, and work areas.
  • Formalize findings, discrepancies, and non-conformities identified.
  • Monitor the implementation and closure of corrective actions.
  • Participate in internal and external HSE audits.
• Management of High-Risk Activities
  • Control the conditions for carrying out high-risk work: working at height, hot work, confined spaces, lifting, electrical interventions, and other specific activities.
  • Verify the application of permits and work authorizations when required.
  • Ensure the implementation of safety measures before starting interventions.
  • Immediately alert management in case of a situation presenting a serious risk.
• Incident and Accident Management
  • Participate in the management of incidents, accidents, and emergency situations.
  • Contribute to investigations and analyses of the causes of HSE events.
  • Participate in the definition of corrective and preventive actions.
  • Ensure their implementation in the field.
• Facilitation and Awareness
  • Organize and lead HSE talks and briefings.
  • Raise awareness among employees and external stakeholders about the risks related to their activities.
  • Participate in the HSE onboarding of new employees, service providers, and subcontractors.
  • Support operational teams in adopting good HSE practices.
• Environmental Monitoring
  • Ensure compliance with environmental instructions in the different areas of the site.
  • Monitor situations that could lead to pollution, spills, or environmental nuisance.
  • Report environmental anomalies and monitor the implementation of corrective measures.
• HSE Reporting
  • Enter and consolidate site HSE data.
  • Track accidents, incidents, dangerous situations, inspections, and corrective actions.
  • Produce periodic HSE reports for the QHSE Manager.
  • Immediately report any event or situation requiring intervention.

Required profile :

• Bachelor's degree to Master's degree in HSE, QHSE, industrial safety, environment, or equivalent
• Experience in HSE supervision on an industrial site, construction site, or operational activity
• Good knowledge of risks related to machinery, work, industrial installations, and maintenance interventions
• Proficiency in office and HSE reporting tools
• Strong field presence and availability according to operational constraints
