12th edition of the GENI Companies Forum

Engineering students from the three major schools: INSEA (National Institute of Statistics and Applied Economics), ENSIAS (National Higher School of Information and Systems Analysis) and INPT (National Institute of Posts and Telecommunications) are organizing, under the high patronage of His Majesty King Mohamed VI, the 12th edition of the GENI Companies Forum, the theme of which will be:

"SOUTH-SOUTH COOPERATION: CHALLENGES AND PROSPECTS FOR MOROCCO"

Thus, it is with great enthusiasm and joy that the students of the three major schools, as well as the entire committee, invite you to this edition, which will take place on March 18 and 19 at INPT.

The GENI Companies Forum, through a rich and varied program, opens an unparalleled window of opportunity for meetings between students from different schools and universities, and a range of organizations wishing to make themselves known and ready to discover so many sharp profiles in different fields. It is also an opportunity for future engineers to be at the heart of the professional world and to learn about the job market.

Morocco, a country opening up, has multiplied its cooperation relations throughout the last decade. However, instead of its usual European partner, it has engaged in South-South cooperation where we find new partners in its foreign policy, namely the sub-Saharan African countries and the Gulf countries.

His Majesty King Mohamed VI has undertaken the conquest of his African neighbors, and this has resulted in numerous agreements signed in key sectors, multiple official visits to the sub-region, but also a strong presence of Moroccan companies. On the other hand, the Gulf countries are major partners for the Kingdom, given the major achievements in both economic exchanges and infrastructure. This is a "win-win" partnership that will bring maturity to our development model for more competitiveness compared to Northern countries.

Because the issue of sustainable, human and technological development is now omnipresent and at the heart of all political strategies, it also constitutes a sacred principle in this South-South cooperation. Morocco's contribution to cooperation is therefore intended to be exemplary and full of promise: that of an Africa that believes in itself, of an "Africa that is beginning to trust Africa."

As future decision-makers, knowing the mechanics of cooperation will be a source of ideas and alternatives for the young engineer. Through the various activities of this edition, we invite you to come and contribute to the construction of this partnership edifice.
