This two-day event successfully brought together a large number of decision-makers, HR managers, and exhibiting companies.
The third International Human Resources Forum, HR Days, concluded its work on Saturday, December 6th, with several recommendations, including promoting youth employment regardless of their qualification level. Organized by the National Association of Human Resources Managers and Trainers (AGEF) Chamal and ANAPEC, in partnership with CGEM-Nord and the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung foundation, this two-day event successfully brought together a large number of decision-makers, HR managers, and exhibiting companies.
"This forum is a societal initiative and an important opportunity for business people to connect directly with job seekers," said the Minister of Employment and Social Affairs, Abdeslam Seddiki. This third edition also provided an opportunity to discuss current topics related to the forum's theme, including the presentation of the objectives of the new national employment strategy.
In a participatory approach and with the support of its various partners, "the government is trying to overcome this difficult situation and ensure decent work for all its citizens," said Mr. Seddiki, noting that work is an essential element "to preserve the dignity of citizens and ensure social stability, which in turn is essential to attract capital and guarantee a favorable investment climate."
It should be noted that among the main new features of this third forum is the participation of ANAPEC as a second full partner alongside AGEF Chamal, the initiator of HR Days. Speaking on this occasion, the Director General of the Agency, Hafid Kamal, stressed that the actions undertaken by ANAPEC are carried out using participatory and proximity approaches with other players in the employment market. And based on the Agency's projected data, "employment needs will reach some 130,000 jobs by the end of 2015," added Mr. Kamal.
In addition to workshops held for job seekers, the program included plenary meetings related to the objective of this third forum: to promote employment and employability. "The issue of employment and employability is a major concern for all components of society. It is an integral part of the experience of families, the government, trade unions and employers, civil society...," stressed Najat Lailai, president of AGEF Chamal.
It should be noted that this forum saw, in addition to its work, the conclusion of a number of partnership agreements, including one signed during the opening session of this third edition between ANAPEC and CGEM-Nord. This agreement aims to establish a framework defining "the axes of partnership between the two signatory parties and concerning human resource management, support for CGEM-Nord member companies by the Agency," according to the organizers.
