Following the success of the France-Morocco Partnership Forum, held in Casablanca on May 20 and 21, 2014, Maroc Export, the French Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Morocco (CFCIM), and the Paris Ile-de-France Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCIP) are organizing: the Morocco-France Partnership Forum on May 20 and 21, 2015 in Paris.
This flagship event of Moroccan-French economic cooperation aims to enable companies from both countries to forge commercial, technological and industrial partnerships and to develop various avenues for triangular cooperation between Morocco, France and Africa.
This event, supported by the Moroccan Ministry of Trade, Industry, Investment and Digital Economy and by the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Development, will bring together executives from Moroccan and French companies, as well as senior officials from the main economic institutions of both countries.
The objective of this meeting, focused on partnership, investment and trade exchanges, is to provide executives with an exchange platform through the organization of targeted business meetings and the holding of several sectoral workshops and thematic conferences.
France, the 5th largest world economy, is positioned, with more than 40 billion dirhams in imports, as the Kingdom's leading economic partner. France also asserts itself as a springboard to Europe for Moroccan companies.
In order to boost economic relations between the two countries and highlight Morocco's potential as a hub to Africa, MAROC EXPORT and the CFCIM will select nearly 80 Moroccan companies likely to establish partnerships with French companies in strategic areas, including Agriculture and Agri-food, Construction and Infrastructure, Automotive, Aeronautics, Rail, Information Technologies, Health, Environment and Sustainable Development. To this end, they will be connected with some 200 French business leaders identified by the organizers.
The Morocco-France Forum will host an "Expert Village" where specialists can answer participants' questions on various issues related to financing, legal matters, real estate, transport, etc. In addition to the scheduled B2B meetings, several thematic conferences and sectoral workshops will be led by experts from both countries, with the contribution of the Forum's various institutional partners. Sectoral visits will also be organized at the end of the event; this initiative will allow Moroccan executives who wish to visit industrial sites, logistics platforms and other types of companies operating in sectors of interest to them.
