SME and Partners Forum: The SME Rendezvous to Accelerate Emergence

Integration of SMEs around Productive Ecosystems, Financing Solutions, Export Support, Promotion of Made in Morocco and Intangible Capital…

SMEs represent 95% of the national economic fabric, employ 46% of employees and contribute 30% of exports. Improving their competitiveness and performance is essential to successfully address the decisive turning point of Morocco's industrial emergence.

In line with the 2014-2020 industrial acceleration plan, the SME and Partners Forum, organized by Epitaphe on December 11 and 12 at the Casablanca International Fair, mobilizes the country's public and private forces to promote structuring programs, support measures for SMEs, and above all encourage their access to national and international markets. Through the involvement of the Ministry of Industry, Trade, Investment and Digital Economy, the CGEM, the ANPME, Maroc Export, CRIs, financing organizations, industrial ecosystems and SMEs from various sectors, this event prioritizes productive exchange and proximity information to highlight all the solutions capable of boosting SME development.

"Public and private support and financing mechanisms, highlighting industrial locomotives and possibilities of partnerships and interactions between large groups and VSEs, Strengthening intangible capital and Made in Morocco, Support for export to African and international markets, Qualification of resources and enhancement of technological and organizational solutions… These are the main themes that structure this edition in addition to the B2B meetings planned between national and foreign business leaders.

As such, delegations from Africa, the European Union and other countries will travel to the SME and Partners Forum to discover opportunities for trade or investment in the Kingdom.
Furthermore, given the weight of the informal economy, we will not fail to address the issue of self-employment and incentives for entrepreneurship to encourage the integration of the informal sector and the structural reorganization of the national economic fabric," says Ms. Ayoub Asmaa, CEO of Epitaphe.

Whether through the exhibition space, conferences and workshops or B2B, the spotlight will be on SMEs on December 11 and 12. Their various problems will be discussed through frank and open debates between business leaders, political and economic leaders and the media in order to actively and collectively contribute to increasing the competitiveness of our country and building an economic fabric combining quality, performance, job creation and added value.

The SME and Partners Forum will conclude on Friday, December 12, with a gala evening where the Best Company and Best Investment Trophies will be awarded by the CRI of Greater Casablanca.
