Recently, in Morocco, the formalization of company values, mainly in multinational companies, has taken on phenomenal proportions to the point that they have become the main communication tool of the company. They are displayed on company websites, brochures, annual reports, etc.
Generally, company values appear as infinitives or common nouns such as "innovation"... and aim to reflect the company culture, a kind of internal awareness and a form of external communication about the entity! Many large companies have formalized their key values, but unfortunately too many SMEs believe they can do without them.
Values, yes, but not always applied!
Indeed, "company values" signify a real internal management tool: working and pay conditions, consideration for the employee and their development...
Unfortunately, companies that adopt values are often criticized for not following a coherent internal approach. In other words, they make no effort for employees and focus only on productivity and the positive image these values give them with the public!
It is important to know that above all, a company aims to support and train its employees because they are a real human added value that can bring much more when they are well treated in their workplace, since that is where they spend most of their time. If employees get neither rewarding pay, nor recognition of their work involvement, nor hope for personal development..., they will only give the bare minimum at work, what is necessary to keep their job.
It is therefore important to ensure the fair treatment of employees in the company, from application to recruitment!
Values: human factors for better productivity!
A true consideration of human values in the company creates a climate conducive to motivation and efficiency. The company's identity is then enhanced, both internally and externally. Thus, the most successful companies create environments where their employees can flourish, develop self-esteem and participate enthusiastically in the life of the organization and its success.
If you have the opportunity to develop your company's values with all employees, don't hesitate because it's a significant moment in the company's life that unites a team and creates a sense of belonging, thus generating a more secure future.
All for real values!
The values and behaviors expected from your employees must be disseminated throughout the organization. To do this, you must translate your words into actions and integrate the expected values and behaviors into human resource management systems. When you find meaning in your work, you naturally call upon the deepest levels of involvement and productivity. People aspire to work for organizations that consider them as whole people so that they can be involved in their daily tasks...
