Who said chatting wasn't good for the health of a company? Generating intra-professional relationships, chatting can only be a boon for the company and for management teams.
Grant Michelson, former research director and teacher in human resources management at the Nantes management school, proves that the repercussions of informal communication on company management are rather beneficial, contrary to popular belief.
Forbidding or Controlling
Present since always in all companies, chatting is as impossible to forbid as it is to control. If, however, you feel like trying, know that there are other methods of chatting, but this time, written. Hence the birth of Skype; MSN; with the possibility of having group conversations.
Chatting and Integration
It is more interesting to be surrounded by people who would have ease in communicating with others and who would immediately encourage trust within the team.

The gossip machine is not about to stop. And that's good, because, despite its bad reputation, chatting is not without merit. "It's a way to build relationships of trust and solidarity within a team," explains Grant Michelson. "We build bonds by telling each other kinds of secrets. It's also a very common informal way of complaining. We thus seek solutions from other colleagues or, simply, we break the ice. It therefore often allows you to manage your stress. "
