Digital Age Recruitment: What Future for HR Departments?

ReKrute.com organized a meeting on Thursday, September 20th, on "Recruitment in the Digital Age: What Future for HR Departments?" to discuss the latest innovations in HR and explore development opportunities in this field.
Hosted by ReKrute.com's CEO, Philippe Montant, the event was held at "H Seven," the new hub for entrepreneurship and innovation based in Casablanca, scheduled to open in mid-October. The manager began by providing an overview of the latest innovations in recruitment (Big Data, affinity matching, artificial intelligence, etc.), to meet the needs of recruiters and address the challenges they face. Disengagement, turnover, job transformation, skills shortage, candidate/company culture fit... are all issues concerning HR today.
"With the evolution of new technologies, 10% of existing jobs will disappear completely by 2030, and between 50 and 60% will be profoundly transformed, according to the World Economic Forum; we all face this," recalls Philippe Montant, who highlights the difficulty companies have in finding the skills they lack and, above all, profiles that will embrace the organization's culture and values.
Furthermore, he notes that the factors motivating individuals at work are also undergoing significant changes. According to the latest survey conducted by ReKrute, BCG, and The Network, career progression and skills development are at the heart of concerns in Morocco. But internationally, trends are more about company culture, work-life balance, and relationships with colleagues. This means that tomorrow, motivating factors and employment choices priorities will change again, hence the need to always listen to the expectations related to the professional world.
In this regard, Philippe Montant recommends a number of measures for recruiting employees: "We must personalize the relationship with candidates, assess their affinities and share HR values, offer career prospects, and above all, be more transparent in recruitment."
Thus, ReKrute plans to develop tools over the next two years to improve candidate-company matching, support candidates in choosing the next step in their career, and offer recruiters better targeting for more effective recruitment.
