Presentation of the ""Global Talent Survey"" survey Knowing the expectations of candidates regarding career management is strategic for any business leader. A survey, unprecedented in its scale, was conducted for ReKrute by The Boston Consulting Group and The Network. This report is a unique opportunity for Moroccan companies to understand the changes and flows impacting their human capital. They thus have a general overview of the behavior of Moroccan workers: popular sectors, positions sought, main motivations, preferred channels, favorite destinations...

1- International mobility: a real challenge for Moroccan companies and their executives
In a context of market opening and globalization, international mobility is a real challenge for Moroccan companies and their executives. Expatriation, secondment of an employee abroad or recruitment of a foreign worker, companies are increasingly managing international recruitment situations. Through this survey, they will also know where and how to attract and recruit talent from a particular area: which country to target, which profiles to find, which media to use.

2- 203755 people surveyed!
This survey covered more than 203,755 people in 189 countries, including 1,886 Moroccans. The study was presented in the form of an online questionnaire in 40 languages. Aspirations of Moroccans regarding their career fairly young (74% under 34 years old) and work in large companies. The gender distribution shows a much greater parity than in the average of other Arab countries (30% vs. 26% and 9%). Overall, they have more managerial responsibilities: 69% vs. 49% in the rest of the world. Despite a high level of motivation (82%), almost all of them are ready to change companies, and are more or less actively looking for a position elsewhere.

3- Reasons for changing jobs and the tools used for searching
The preferred search tool is the employment portal, then the various media published on the internet, more classic media such as agencies or printed media are mentioned much later. It should be noted that spontaneous applications are still just as appreciated among our Moroccan employees. The analysis of the motivations that would push them to leave their job reveals, in order of importance, learning and career development, good relationships with superiors and colleagues, taking responsibility, and work-life balance.

4- 77% are ready to expatriate!
We thus observe a predominance of notions of development and environment, to the detriment of purely financial considerations, relegated to 8th place. With a score of 77% ready to expatriate, Morocco ranks above the average, which records 64% of mobile people. The majority of them wish to leave for a period exceeding 5 years, but only 12% have really started their departure procedures. The reasons that lead them to consider expatriation are again linked to responsibilities, career development, salary only coming in 6th position. The favorite cities of Moroccans have not changed much between 2012 and 2014: Paris largely in the lead, Dubai has overtaken Montreal, and NYC and London are tied. Logically, the preferred countries are France, Canada, and the United Arab Emirates. The rest of the survey on the link.
