The Construction Engineer, also called a Civil Engineer, is essential for any construction project.
Working for a property developer or a construction company, the Construction Engineer plans, coordinates, and monitors the execution of construction projects, ensuring compliance with specifications and contractual commitments.
Their goal is to guarantee project success and profitability through monitoring and reporting.

Here are their main responsibilities:
- In collaboration with the architect and design office, the Construction Engineer plans project phases, determines and schedules the interventions of different trades,
- They manage obtaining the necessary authorizations, establishing and monitoring administrative procedures related to the projects,
- The Construction Engineer ensures project management,
- They conduct site visits and lead site meetings,
- They allocate work among teams and monitor progress,
- They verify the technical aspects of service provider bids,
- They ensure compliance with the specifications, standards, and budgets.

In a non-construction or real estate company, the Construction Engineer's role is to oversee building maintenance and upkeep.
They develop and implement new projects. They conduct feasibility studies in technical terms, establish specifications, and define budgets. They select service providers and supervise their work.
