A framework agreement signed in January 2015 between the Ministry of Employment and Vocational Training and the National Federation of ICTs (under UTICA) aims to encourage employment and employability of young graduates in the strategic digital sector.
Pilot programs are available to any ICT company affiliated with a Federation chamber, including:
- The "employment support check" program aims to encourage the direct recruitment of young graduates. Companies that benefit will receive, for one renewable year, 50% of the recruited employee's salary (capped at 350 DT per month) and employer's social security contributions covered by the National Employment Fund.
- The "employability improvement check" program aims to improve the skills of young graduates to better meet the demands of the labor market. A specific agreement will be signed between the company and the National Agency for Employment and Independent Work (ANETI) to organize training for Tunisians registered with employment offices.
This program will provide the beneficiary with a monthly allowance of 200 dinars for holders of a national diploma and 100 dinars for those with other educational levels, as well as social security coverage by the National Employment Fund. The company will receive coverage from the fund for training or retraining costs up to 3000 DT per person.
