Developing Self-Confidence

Self-confidence is the feeling of someone who knows they can rely on themselves to face life's circumstances and challenges. Whatever the case, we always have the same value and importance. Only such a belief can provide a secure basis for self-esteem. And let us remember that values are also born with beliefs.

If we think that we have value and importance, it seems natural to treat ourselves with respect and, if necessary, to fight for our rights.

Every belief is accompanied by attitudes and behaviors that are consistent with it. Practicing behaviors that logically stem from the belief tends to reinforce it.

For good self-confidence, it is therefore important to accept our physical appearance, our thoughts, our emotions, our feelings, our behaviors, our flaws, our shadows. The fact that we think as we think does not force us to act. On the contrary, our thoughts are teachings, useful information for making appropriate decisions, given the context and our objectives.

Homework of the month:
Think of a person you know directly or indirectly and who you could say has self-confidence.

What proves to you that they have self-confidence?

What is observable that demonstrates that they have self-confidence?

From these criteria, choose the 5 most essential for self-confidence. Then rank them in order of importance.
Self-assess yourself in each of these criteria on a scale of 0 (I don't master anything) to 10 (I am an expert in this field). Take each criterion one by one and ask yourself what you can do to immediately move to the next higher grade.
