Florian Mantione is not only a business leader but also a creator of social links, a facilitator and a humanist. ReKrute.com, always on the lookout for new trends, has taken a strong interest in the life of this idea agitator who subtly reveals certain realities of company life through a selection of articles that we will introduce you to over the coming weeks.
First, I will set the context of the psychological experiment.
Two work groups are given the same number of small problems.
They are placed in two different rooms and warned that, unexpectedly, noises of varying durations will disrupt their work.
It is specified that one of the two groups has a button that can stop the noise.
They are made to work, and the group with the best results is the one with the button to suppress the noise. However, this group generally does not use this button!!!
Conclusion: knowing that one has a certain freedom makes the group stronger…
And if the same were true in our companies? Knowing that one can leave work earlier, receive personal phone messages, sometimes send personal mail, make private photocopies, does not necessarily lead to abuse.
The opposite happens. By having an adult-to-adult relationship with their collaborators, they work better because they feel in a climate of trust, in a climate that makes them feel responsible. Showing oneself worthy of the trust placed in them leads to highly positive behavior in employees, from which the company benefits greatly.
To those who understand, greetings!
