Being laid off is always a tough blow, whatever the reason for your departure. Whether for economic reasons or others, all you remember is that in a few days, you will find yourself without a job.... Don't panic, acknowledge the shock and stay positive.

First of all, question yourself:
The first thing to determine before going any further is the reason for your dismissal.
The company may no longer have had the financial means to support all its employees, did you fail in your work? Were you serious?...
The answer to these questions will allow you to put your finger on the problem and analyze it, especially if it comes from you. It would therefore be interesting to know in order to learn lessons for later and thus improve yourself. And as the old saying goes: What doesn't kill you makes you stronger!
So don't hesitate to ask your colleagues what they think of you, what they would have liked to see you improve, what they criticize you for, it's always good to be open to other people's remarks, it's a good way to move forward.
Accept it:
You are torn between shame and anger, it's normal but don't let yourself be overwhelmed by your emotions. Stay polite and especially friendly with your colleagues, say goodbye to them and don't hesitate to call them and see them again, especially those with whom you have forged bonds.
Don't try to hide it from your family and friends, talk about it openly, it turns out to be good therapy.
Think about what you want to do:
Once you've absorbed the shock, take some time to assess what you really want to do. Ask yourself if you aspire to the same position, or if you want to completely change your path.
This phase of your life can prove to be a springboard for a new start, a new turning point, so it's up to you to do everything to turn this difficult period to your advantage.
