Trust, the Cement of the Team

Text: The only value that will bring hope of getting out of this is trust.
Trust of the crew who knows, who feels that their "captain", who has seen it all, will get them out of this bad situation. Trust of the captain who knows he has recruited the best teammates and knows, feels they are competent.
Because trust is based on rational and intuitive elements, on proof, guarantees, but also on affection and naive hope.
In business, it's the same for management.
The employee's trust in the manager is based on the certainty and/or hope of a positive relationship. It encourages initiative and responsibility because the upstream is positive.
The manager's trust in his employees is based on the recognition of their skills already implemented or on a calculated gamble. It encourages the creation of ambitious projects, realistic commitments.
Then there is the trust of all employees in the company. Beyond the speeches (there is no wealth but men...), it is shocking to see social plans or relocation in companies where employees have devoted a significant part of their lives. Employee involvement will be all the greater if they know and feel that "their" company will not let them down in times of trouble.
Thus goes life. Trust is earned. Trust is constantly renewed. Trust is fragile: a burnt child... The scars sometimes remain painful.
On the other hand, walls built with cement are solid.
What if that cement were trust?
