Employees most at risk from heatstroke are obviously those who do physical work outdoors. But this can also be the case for a tired person, someone on medication, and pregnant women.
Warning signs
These vary depending on age, sex, and each person's health. The most visible signs can take several forms: headaches, dizziness, dehydration, fatigue, heatstroke (the latter can be very serious)… In this case, it is ideal to avoid isolation. A worker alone is more vulnerable than one integrated into a work group.work. Any abnormal reaction will immediately attract the attention of other team members.
If you witness an abnormal reaction from a colleague, you must report it as quickly as possible to your occupational health physician or your superiors.
What to do?
Being in a fasting period, oral hydration is unfortunately not possible. Ideally, take regular breaks, cool your face, hands, and feet as often as possible, and drink plenty of water and liquids in the evening…
