Take Charge of Your Life

A good time management policy is the sensible management of work time and free time to contribute to the quality of life.

We can distinguish two groups of individuals:

People who fight boredom by throwing themselves body and soul into work (workaholics).
People who seek an identity outside of work.
The first group is an example of the colonization by the labor market of the non-professional sphere.

The second group seeks other modes of personal fulfillment and meaningful alternative activities.

Which group do you belong to?

It is not possible to make a choice between the two based on objective criteria. Everyone must make their own choices, which must meet certain conditions:

You must feel comfortable with your decision, and you cannot let yourself be overtaken by employers who seek to control your life. It must be your own choice. The quality of your life is important, and keep that in mind when making your choice.
You can change your mind at any time. A person who is leaving school and still living with their parents may be able to devote more time to work. As soon as he or she starts a family, they can reconsider the choice. It is your responsibility to inform your employer that you cannot continue in this way.

Defend your life!

Define what seems important to you. What makes you happy? What gives you satisfaction? Plan your time to leave yourself enough personal time. Feel free to banish things you don't like from your life. Take your own life in hand. It is a first step to become aware of your own limits. Never forget that flexibility only has the limits that you impose on it.
