Six Agreements Signed to Boost Employment

On Tuesday, November 25th, the Anapec signed six partnership agreements with various public and private stakeholders. These agreements focus on improving job prospects for job seekers, financing training, and supporting project leaders.

On the sidelines of the inauguration of its new local agency in Sidi Slimane, the Anapec (National Agency for the Promotion of Employment and Skills) proceeded on Tuesday, November 25th, to the signing of six partnership agreements between the recruitment agency and its public and private partners.

The agreements are as follows:

1. Partnership agreement between Anapec and the prefecture of Sidi Slimane to encourage income-generating activities (IGAs) and support self-employment projects within the framework of the INDH. Under this partnership, Anapec will provide its expertise and human resources for the support and guidance of self-employment project leaders, while the prefecture of Sidi Slimane will study the files and finance the projects, always within the framework of the INDH.

2. Partnership agreement between Anapec and the Sidi Slimane urban council for the opening of a local Anapec agency whose objective is to strengthen proximity with job seekers, employers, and project leaders in the prefecture. The agency will welcome and guide job seekers, organize job search workshops, disseminate job offers, and support employers and project leaders.

3. Partnership agreement between Anapec and the Sidi Yahia El Gharb urban council for the opening of a job center that allows for the reception and guidance of job seekers, the organization of workshops, the dissemination of job offers, etc. This job center will strengthen proximity with job seekers, employers, and project leaders in the municipality.

4. Partnership agreement between Anapec, the Sidi Slimane Provincial Council, and the Regional Academy of Education and Training for the promotion of the private education sector. This agreement aims to meet the needs of the private education sector in terms of skills and human resources. It aims to train young graduates to enable them to integrate into the private education sector and improve the employability of graduate job seekers through training actions between 2014 and 2015.

5. Partnership agreement between Anapec and Lear Corporation to meet the multinational's needs for skills and human resources. The support will focus on identifying the desired profiles, posting job offers, pre-selecting candidates, and contractual training for employment, providing additional training to better adjust the selected profiles to the positions to be filled. Recruitment prospects are around 600 people for the year 2015.

6. Partnership agreement between Anapec and the INDH for the training of young people who are not in school according to the needs of the job market. This agreement addresses the problem of the mismatch between training and the job market. It aims to train young graduates or non-graduates over a period of 6 months in the fields of tourism, hospitality, and construction.

The event was chaired by Abdesslam Seddiki, Minister of Employment and Social Affairs, and marked by the participation of various institutional, economic, and social stakeholders who have committed to the process of creating and promoting employment in Sidi Slimane.
