Each year, ReKrute.com conducts an analysis based on job offers posted on the site. The "HR Trends" highlight the profiles most sought after by Moroccan companies during the current year, and therefore here in 2016.
www.ReKrute.com uses indicators such as the most popular training, functions and experience levels, as well as the sectors that recruit the most to create a portrait of trends.
This year, to provide more precise trends, ReKrute.com has identified trends for two categories of training: trends for Bac+3 and below profiles, and trends for Bac+4 and above profiles. These results are always compared to previous years.
The Moroccan job market continues to grow and change from year to year. In just a few months, the trend can reverse, and highly sought-after positions can end up at the bottom of the list.
To summarize the results, we have observed a slight improvement in the situation of the Moroccan labor market in 2016. Indeed, the number of open positions increased by 4%, all training and experience levels combined.
We were able to highlight some indicators:
Bac+4 and above
- The IT function remains the most sought after. Indeed, the demand increased between 2015 and 2016: a 7% increase in IT functions.
- Salespeople remain in high demand and are experiencing sustained growth: a 6% increase between 2015 and 2016 for Bac+4 and above, and a remarkable 149% increase for Bac+3 and below profiles.
- The insurance sector was the one that recruited the most in 2016: 38% of open positions compared to only 3% in 2015. It should be noted that the outsourcing of this profession to Morocco was strong again this year.
- The energy sector is no longer recruiting as much as before: 1% in 2016 compared to 9% in 2015.
- This last year, the most sought-after Bac+4 and above profiles are beginners (profiles with no professional experience, 34% compared to only 2% in 2015)
- In both 2015 and 2016, the most sought-after profiles for Bac+3 and below are beginners (profiles with no professional experience), followed by juniors (1 to 3 years of experience + less than 1 year of experience)
- The Call Center sector was the one that recruited the most in 2016 and 2015: offers have however decreased by 3%
- The automotive sector emerged in 2016 due to the good health of the sector: +8% of positions
